Law Firm Sues ‘Robot Lawyer’ DoNotPay for Lacking a Law Degree

The lawsuit was submitted on behalf of Jonathan Faridian, who mentioned he’d utilised DoNotPay to draft different legal paperwork which include demand letters, a smaller statements court submitting, and a job discrimination grievance.

Per the grievance, Faridian believed he’d purchased legal paperwork “from a lawyer that was proficient to give them,” but bought “substandard” benefits.

Joshua Browder, the CEO of DoNotPay, reported on Twitter that the promises experienced “no advantage” and pledged to battle the lawsuit.

He stated DoNotPay was “not likely to be bullied by America’s richest course action law firm” in a reference to Edelson founder Jay Edelson. 

Browder claimed he’d been impressed to set up DoNotPay in 2015 to acquire on attorneys these kinds of as Edelson.
