ST. LOUIS — The driver of a motor vehicle fleeing police was killed Tuesday after she ran a pink gentle and collided with a semi-truck just off Interstate 70 on Adelaide Avenue, law enforcement mentioned.
An officer attempted to pull more than the car on I-70 in close proximity to Salisbury Avenue all-around 12:30 p.m., law enforcement said.
The feminine driver fled north and received off the interstate at Grand Avenue, in advance of receiving suitable back again on the interstate, law enforcement explained.
She then drove a mile north and exited at Adelaide Avenue. Police stated she then ran a pink light and struck a semi-truck that was driving by means of the intersection.
She died at the scene of the crash.
A law enforcement spokesman claimed the officer did not chase the female just after she failed to end.
The interstate was shut in both instructions as officers investigated, police claimed.
